The Black Widow roof rack storage basket is great for carrying camping gear, luggage, and utility loads. Tubular side rails prevent the load from shifting and provide great attaching points for a cargo net. Standard, overall dimensions are 39" wide x 43.5" long x 6" tall. The roof rack storage basket length can be increased by 24" with an optional Basket Extension for added cargo space. It is treated with an E-coat process then finished with a durable black powder coating. It mounts to most factory roof racks or multi-sport rack systems such as Yakima and Thule. An optional 37" x 5.5" Wind Fairing is also available to help deflect wind around roof cargo and reduce noise during travel. Vehicle must be equipped with a roof rack with cross bars for U-brackets to connect to.
Mounting requirements - Round Cross Bars: 1-3/4" in diameter, Square Cross Bars: 1-3/4" wide x 1-3/4" thick, Rectangle Cross Bars: 4-3/4" wide x 1-1/8" thick, with at least 15" spacing between the cross bars. Easy installation, requires a phillips screw driver.
