This electrically powered universal carrier is ideal for heavier scooters and mid-wheel drive chairs. It is equipped with a 2500lb. Capacity screw jack that is activated by a single switch. The power unit comes with a single wire that can be attached directly to the vehicle's electrical system. We recommend using a 20 amp circuit breaker. The power unit has built in night lights that are switched on and off with a hidden push button under the access cap. It also comes with an emergency crank which will lower or raise the platform in case of power failure. The carrying platform is 48" long by 28" wide, and has six tie down locations. (2) retractable nylon straps are provided for securing your chair during transport. Platform folds up toward vehicle when not in use. class 3 hitch required. Weight capacity is 350 pounds. Air shocks may be necessary.
