This roof rack basket features a low profile design, yet has a generous 45.5" L x 41" W x 3.5" H inside storage area (52.5" L x 43.5" W x 5.25" H overall dimensions). The black powder coated steel construction includes 1" diameter frame tubing along with 1/2" diameter inner rungs, providing a sturdy rack that only weighs 27 lbs The side rails keep your load in place and also provide attachment points for tie downs or cargo nets. The Stingray car luggage rack is easy to assemble and install, with a unique mounting system that fits a wide range of cross bar sizes and shapes, including square and round cross bars. The roof rack basket uses U-brackets to mount to your vehicle's existing cross bar system. A wind fairing is also available (sold separately) to help reduce wind resistance and noise while traveling.
