| I recently purchased a Stinger trailer to tow my 2003 Harley Davidson Road King long distance. I chose the Stinger because of the exceptional engineering that was incorporated in the trailer. I also have limited storage space and the trailer takes up very little space in my garage. |
I Took my first trip to New Mexico a distance of 2720 miles round trip.I reached speeds of 65 mph; the wind gusts were up to 45 miles per hour on I-40. I have had several utility trailers and I always saw them move from side to side, with the Stinger trailer the bike towed like it was welded to the rear of the vehicle. My gas mileage was the same mileage I expect when not towing the trailer. When I reached the hotel I unloaded the bike, folder the trailer and stored the trailer in the back of the Explorer, I had only to worry about securing the bike overnight.
